The gym was decorated, the DJs were playing, and the punch was not yet spiked.

Fandom High's Valentine's Day Dance had begun.

"Yes!" Parker shot up a hand and chortled gleefully.

"Come on, Zero! You promised!"

Zero rolls her eyes and bounces out onto the dance floor after Parker. "Yeah, I did!"

Parker might be giving a good impression of Parkie, she's dancing so fast.

Zero bobs her head, sending her hair flying around her. "Woo!"

Angela is tapping her fist. And kind of hopping. And, generally, contributing a one-woman impression of a very polite mosh pit.

"I love this song!" she calls.

Zero rolls her eyes, then dashes over to grab Angela and drag her back to where Parker is. "You can't mosh alone!" Again with that weird flicker of melancholy, but then she's back to normal.

"Can too!" Angela says.

But she seems pretty happy to have been grabbed anyhow. She's spinning, hair flying, fists over her head.

"I'm so happy to hear something not totally corny."

"A-squalling-men!"

Parker bumps into both Angela and Zero, grinning gleefully as she spins.

Nadia doesn't know the song, but she knows she likes the beat. She's bouncing around like crazy, her hair flying.

She's possibly a touch drunk by this point.

Parker waves to her as she goes head-banging by.

Nadia looks around for Walter or Victor or Pippi or, well, anyone to dance with her. But the world's going ever so slightly blurred, thanks to Pippi, so she shrugs and starts bouncing around on her own.

There might have been rather a lot of squeeing involved.
