Live Entertainment Appreciation, Thursday, Period 5

Jono was only slightly late for his own class this week, stumbling through a portal on the Causeway just as another one opened up. He began his lesson without preamble, though, still bundled in his Glacian winter gear with a curious cat peeking out of his pocket at all the people.

Whatever they were going to do today, he was going to have to sweat it out.

"Right, then. Music. Live music." He waved at the portal that had just opened with one hand, a little breathless. Clearly there had been an ill-advised run on the way here so that he wouldn't be later than he already was. "Classical... we're going to see an opera, one that Doctor Lecter introduced me to a few weeks back. Same rules as always, sit down, pay attention, don't... put your feet up on the seats in front of you or anything. Let's go."

He waved students through portal number two, into what would have looked like a normal opera house, if not for the fact that behind the stage, there was a window that showed a spectacular view of outer space. And the audience even seemed predominantly human... with the odd exception, who appeared to be some manner of alien or other. Jono ushered his students into their seats just as the curtains parted, the stage lights came up, and the opera began.

It was... not entirely the same as he remembered it from Hannibal's office.

[OOC: Yes, that third link is a YouTube vid. If you can't open those at work or whatever, it's a link to the Diva's performance from The Fifth Element. Let's say it's an earlier performance, though. One that doesn't end in aliens storming the room and shooting the place up.]

Mavis was... Mavis would... just be sitting here with her mouth open for a while.

Also, wondering if her dad could get this lady to come headline at the Hotel Transylvania for her next birthday.

Snow had become a lot more used to the differences between Fandom and her home, but she was just going to stare at the backdrop of space and the alien diva for a few minutes, thank you very much.

Once she got over her astonishment, she found the music beautiful.
