Breaking Things 101, Wednesday, Period 3
Today, the Danger Shop didn't look particularly interesting. In fact, when the students came in, there didn't seem to be a whole lot of stuff in there at all, at least not at first glance. Just a massive white wall in front of them. And Electroclash in front of the wall, naturally. Looking a bit pleased with herself.
"Morning, kiddos." It kind of wasn't morning anymore but did she care? Nah. "So far, we've covered breaking things on the small scale. Shit you can do with your hands – throwing things, burning things, whatever. And that's all well and good, but sometimes you need to go bigger. And since some of you may be angsting over whatever terribly deep teen drama you have from having to face various parental figures and friends this weekend, I figured we need to do some good bloody large-scale destruction today."
She glanced back towards the wall.
As if on cue, the wall behind her seemed to implode upon itself, bits of plaster and pipe and wooden frame flying in every possible direction courtesy of the massive metal ball that hung there, suspended at the apex of its arc before swinging back into the wild blue outside.
If people cared to look outside through the new opening in the wall, they'd see Sparkle sitting in the driver's seat of the crane that the wrecking ball was attached to. And even if they didn't care to look, they'd almost certainly hear the triumphant yelling that he was doing. Because, hi, this was freaking awesome.
And Electroclash agreed. She almost grinned at the rest of the students as she turned to face them again. (Not having even fliched at Sparkle busting through the wall, because well, that had been timed on purpose.) "We are wrecking walls today. Getting on the wrecking ball itself is also allowed if you want to copy popular pop singers and pair up, or you can just do what my sidekick is doing and swing the ball at the wall from afar. Both ways are brilliant. Let's get to it."
