"Right, so I don't know how your weekends went, but I could hit some things," Cade said from where they were meeting in the Danger Shop ~~so that team-based sports could work~~. "So let's play dodgeball. I watched a documentary about it--" with Ben Stiller, so be afraid, everyone, "--and if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball, so we'll start with that."

Oh, Cade.

"Then we'll have snacks. Anyone bring something good?"

Perhaps while explaining to Cade that the wrench part wasn't actually necessary...

"What documentary did you watch?" Theo had to ask while eating some crackers and checking for bruises. "Wrenches?"

"I'll let you borrow it," Cade said. "It had something in it about this guy about to lose his gym so he started a dodgeball team made of losers..."

"Did the wrenches work?" Theo had to ask. "Or just send everyone to the hospital?"

"A couple guys got hit in the junk, but they walked it off," Cade said.

Theo winched and had the urge to cross his legs.

"Do you think you could walk that off?" he asked Cade.

Not a chance.

"No problem."

"So, give it a try," Theo challenged. "Take a wrench shot to your crotch and see if you can walk it off."

Do it, Cade.

"You first," Cade decided, "but I'll totally do it."

Because Cade made good choices.

"Hey, I already let the wrenches hit me," Jim pointed out. "Why should I do it again?"

Jack was too busy stuffing her face with chips and laughing her ass off at the wrench part to explain anything to Cade.

It probably made her the worst advisor ever, but damn. It was funny.
