"I'm more used to it than you'd think. back at Xavier's, they teach students the first week how to spot if someone's being mind controlled. With so many telepaths around, it's pretty common. This isn't exactly mind control here," he added, pointeing at the duo with his fork, "but it's the same idea."

"I guess so, yeah," Cally says with a shrug. "Good to know you're, like, prepared and stuff."

"Yeah, it's helped out a lot since I've been here," he admitted, and took a sip of soda. "So, if you're Cally and Anders instead of Anders and Bridge..."

You could almost see the lightbulb as the thought popped into his mind. "What happens if you two wanna kiss?"

He may or may not be reaching down to look through his backpack.

Walter looked up at that question and grinned. "That would be a moment worth recording for future reference," he said. "Sort of like my picture not-Angel singing at Carita's."

Cally bites her lower lip and gets a little teary-eyed. "I'm really, really not ready for that yet."

"Really?" Victor asked, seeing the expression. As strange as it was to see "Anders" that nervous, he knew that someone else was at the helm, and she'd probably never had to deal with a body-switch before.

He zipped his abckpack back up and gave her a sympathetic expression. "Hey, it's okay," he offered consolignly. "You'll probably be back in your own body by tomorrow. That's how it seems to work around here."

"Can you backtrack?" Walter asked, not wanting to see Cally look upset like that. "What is the last thing you all remember from being in your own bodies?"
