On the chalkboard today there was the word 'TRUST' written in shaky letters. Because it had been written by a pony.
What, did you think Derek would talk about trust? Don't be crazy.
"Okay," Pinkie was saying as the studentshopefully arrived and settled into class. She positioned herself behind Derek, her front hooves up. "I'm ready! I'll catch you!"
Yep, this would end well.
Derek sighed like only the overly dramatic people of a TV show can manage, giving the class a look as though to express just how much he put up with for this. So, you all better appreciate this shit. "Pretty sure it would work better the other way."
Look, he was a heavy guy. Way too much muscle mass.
"Pfft," scoffed Pinkie. "I'm a pony. I've seen the tv. Humans ride ponies all the time. I toooootally got this."
With a shrug, Derek fell backwards. He could catch himself when this failed miserably. As things tended to in his life.
Oh ye of little faith! Pinkie caught Derek perfectly on the ends of her hooves -- then folded like an accordion.
Well, at least it'd break his fall?
Oh god, this was the weirdest thing ever if you asked Derek. He shoved himself upright, turning to glare at her in confused horror. "There, demonstrated. Now can we continue?"
While he repressed this nightmare of trust.
Pinkie-the-flat-pink-disc-on-the-floor nodded. Somehow. "Sure thing!" she squeaked. "D'ya happen to have a bicycle pump?"
Derek covered his face with his hand. "Everyone. Find a partner and fall on them. It builds trust." It built no such thing. It was was horrible.
