Monsters and Humans. Lecture: Normal Lives (film). Friday, Period 4
Drac was actually very excited today. As soon as everyone was seated he burst into smiles, arms spread wide. "I found one!"
One what? Well, judging from the presence of the zombie trying to smash a video cassette tape against the projector, today was another movie day.
"Today is another movie." Sorry. Drac can't read narration. "'Werewolves' was our topic last week. I managed to locate a modern film that gets a good number of details about werewolves correct. It is called..." He looked at the paper on his desk. "Hoops-Garou." He winced at the pun in there. "It's about a young man who discovers that he is actually a werewolf, born in a family of werewolves that are in hiding in the human world. So in hiding that they do not even tell him the family secret."
Drac frowned slightly. "I don't condone hiding such things from children, though; not knowing you're a monster causes trouble later, as is shown in this film. I also suggest that you don't actually expose yourself as this young man does - It won't just lose you popularity and parts in theater plays. It can get you killed. I don't want to hear that of any of you." Or anyone ever again.
"Humans in the class, please note how the werewolf in this film is portrayed as a normal teenager. His family as a normal family. This is very close to the life my friends live... well, except with more pups. Very active pups. And by active, I mean destructive. Young werewolves are like that; I'm told they calm down as they get older, though." He didn't believe it.
"The young man's statement near the end of this movie is a very important lesson for everyone to remember: 'I wanna be myself'. That's all monsters really want to be." He nodded to the zombie, now wound tightly up in the video tape it had pulled out of the cassette, who pushed a button and somehow started the movie.
Drac is so going to get kids from the Winchester class confused.

Not that Drac asked, but the thoughts crossed his mind as his gaze wandered over the children.
