They were back in a normal classroom this week. Though if Oz was aware of who'd arrived on the causeway this morning, he might have held class in a secure bunker instead.

"So, last week you all had a taste of virtual conflict, now we have the real thing. But we're going to start small, like these kinds of conflicts usually do, because while there are many brilliant and complex pranks, prank wars most often start on the spur of the moment, with any materials close to hand. Such as these." Oz gestured to the desk in the middle of the room, covered in all kinds of household and office paraphernalia. "Your mission, should you choose to accept it, and, yeah, you have to accept, is to come up with one or more pranks involving any of these items. Think annoying and ultimately harmless. You can work with each other if you're stumped."

"Extra credit if you test outside classroom conditions before next week."

Well, this seemed simple enough, right?

Amongst the many and varied items on the table are rubber bands, sticky tape, plastic wrap, tinfoil, pens and pencils and other stationery, post-its, tins of instant coffee, plastic buckets, and much more.

Hopefully you were all clever enough to figure something out with the materials at hand.

Tacks through tape would work as a prank. You just had to tape the line of thumbtacks to the underside of something, like a desk or a table and wait for someone to make contact. In fact, Zeela realized, you could probably do the entire underside of a table with tacks through tin foil, taped around the edges.

After Zee had decorated the underside of one desks in the classroom, she grabbed a few pencils and started shaving them into the instant coffee. Mmm! Graphite and woodshavings! That would wake someone right up!

Jessica was just going to go ahead and grab a coffee tin, a whole lot of rubber bands, some tape, and an obscene amount of tinfoil. She had some thoughts. Oh yes, some thoughts.

Who's here to 'help'.

"Hi," Patrick said after he'd been watching class from the doorway. "Can I have a stapler as a souvenir?"

Considering that by this point they'd been booby-trapped by Oz or a student. "That would be a no, strange boy who is not my student."

"How about a staple remover?" Patrick asked.

Oz set up elaborate security systems so his employees would feel they earned any office supplies they pilfered, he wasn't in the habit of just giving them away. "Sorry, bucko."

"Final offer, I'll take a paper clip. It can even be bent," Patrick said.

This was how you were going to get a paperclip laced with contact sedative, Patrick. "Fine, if it'll get you out of my classroom."

Obviously if you pull your prank out of class, it should be with any other players' permission first.
