Bond was having class within a perfectly normal classroom today, albeit one with small piles of index cards placed on all the desks. Once his students had arrived he began.

"Good morning, I'm Professor Bond, and welcome to This Thing You Humans Call Love, which despite the somewhat euphemistic name," he really needed to find out what was happening between filling out his paperwork and it being filed. "Is focused on giving you a thorough grounding in the basics of sexual education. Given the nature of this school I will clarify that my information will mostly apply to humans as that is the area of my expertise. As such it will be an almost entirely theory based class."

"I realise that this can be an embarrassing subject to talk about, so let me get one thing out of the way, in this class the only stupid question is the one that isn't asked. If you are unsure about something or need clarification, simply ask and I will do my best to answer."

"Now traditionally with first class introductions I ask for your name, class, and level of experience, however that last may be somewhat inappropriate, all things considered." Not that Bond normally cared about being appropriate, but teenagers and duty of care. "So instead of that, tell us why you're taking the class. However if you feel comfortable doing so, would like you to note down any previous education or particular areas you want covered, so I can get a idea of what you might already know or don't know."

"So who'd like to go first."

Who doesn't want you to die of embarrassment before the end of summer, really he doesn't!

That jawdrop on the perky goth chick wasn't because his eyes were just. that. blue. (Though they were.) It was because she'd thought that she was taking a zoology class, not... this.

"So we're gonna learn about human biology and then apply it to us?"

Hunh. "Cool!"

Snow was just going to sit quietly and turn bright, bright red.

...Too late, Bond. Too late.

Name, year, why you're taking this class.

"I'm Mavis. I guess I'm a Junior? I was homeschooled before this, but that's where they put me. And I took this class because I wanted to know more about how humans work."

Bond was going to take a stab in the dark and guess Mavis wasn't human. "An admirable goal," he said. "Some of things we talk about may apply cross-species, though it's always wise to double check. Especially where anatomy is concerned."

"I'm Snow White, and I'm a junior," Snow said, still confused as to just how she'd ended up with this class. She supposed it was something she would have to know.

Paperwork errors were a thing that happened. "Welcome to the class, Ms White." Bond would try not to mortify you too much.

"Thank you, sir," Snow said. She'd try not to die of embarrassment.

"I thought--" Sholeh squeaked, then had to clear her throat and try again. "I thought this was a class about relationships and finding out if you're in love and stuff."

Someone hadn't read the description too closely, mostly because she'd had squabbling sisters in her head.

Someone had also forgotten to include any other information that he'd asked for. Oops.

At least Bond remembered Sholeh from previous classes?

"Well, it's often a thing which happens between people in loving relationships." And people out of relationships, or people who could barely stand each other, as well, but Bond did have a sense of delicacy and tact. "Not that it's necessary for one."

Which was probably for the best, because Sholeh was doing a lot of internal flailing and squeaking right now. Who knows what answer he might get if he pressed for them.

It wouldn't be so bad, except Zeela was laughing at her and reminding her just who might find the things she learned in this class extremely useful.

Big sisters were jerks. FYI.

"Thank you," she mumbled towards her teacher, mostly on autopilot. "I'll be a good student."

"I'm Atton Rand," Atton drawled, hanging back. "I'm a rising senior, and I'm here because it sounded like fun, so why not?"

"Welcome back, Atton," Bond said, smiling. "I hope the class will rise to expectations."

Bond has a box to put cards with any questions or what previous sex ed you've had in. He is studiously not paying attention to who might be putting anything in it as well.

In incredibly neat and rather Victorian penmanship, one card read:

I only know what my Dad told me about this stuff, and sometimes he can be a little...Dad.

So do humans really bite people's toes? If so, why? Because eww.
