Hitting Things 101- Tuesday- 4th period

The students were back in the gym today, with a couple punching bags set up and mats put out across the room.

"This is our last class," Jaina said, "and I'm taking a break next session. So it's been great teaching you, thank you for not making me give out detention and please don't take that as a challenge for this class. Since summer isn't really a finals kind of time, I'm going to let you guys take it easy today. You can work with the punching bags, or you can pair up to do some sparring. Just go ahead and hit things. If anybody needs me, I'll be keeping an eye on you here."

Unlike her sisters and most everyone else, Zeela wasn't forgetting any of the details of last weekend; for her, they were clear as ever. If you asked her, that was completely stupid! She wasn't the thinky one, that was Sholeh. She wasn't the one that could close her eyes and let her heart lead her to the right decision. That was Zhahar.

So, Zeela was going to try and get through this nonsense her own way: by beating the punching bag for an hour and seeing if that cleared her mind any. And, while she did that, noting with a smile how her form had improved over the past two months. Woo!

After spending so long being unable to do anything but pace her tower cell, Snow really appreciated this class. Still, she didn't think she was nearly good enough yet to take on Ravenna. That was going to take time, and a lot of practice.

Jessica decided to take it easy and work the bag. She was actually in a fairly good mood for the first time in a while. If Captain America was back in action in her world, maybe things were finally taking a turn for the better.

The punching bag probably appreciated the good mood.

Goose decided to spend the class hitting the punching bag, he was calm and focused as punch after punch landed on its target.

Combat Tech had used up whatever mental focus Anakin had today, so there was no way he'd be good for sparring. Punching bags it was.

Alex was in a reflective mood today, so she decided she was just going to hit the punching bag and think about a lot of things. Like usual for her, hitting the bag was very cathartic.
