"This is our last week together," Steve announced, "and I hope you've had fun and are leaving in at least a little better shape than you started. Today, we're going to run an obstacle course to kind of tie together some of what you've done." He talked them through the course, which involved running through a section of the preserve, climbing a rope wall, running through tires, then crawling through mud before climbing another wall, this one plywood, before sprinting for the finish line. "Your prize for finishing is that you get to finish! And I won't make you do pushups. Let's go." He blew his whistle. Tweet!

Ryan wished she had been able to make better time getting through the obstacle course, but at least she wasn't completely out of breath. She might actually be able to speak if anyone needed to talk to her.
