Chicken. Again. He knows it's not a conspiracy (or rather hopes its not), so he collects some food and finds his way to his usual seat.

Victor noticed three thing when he entered the cafeteria:

1) Pip and Blair were talking, and it looked like one of those "hetero-only" conversations.

2) Edward was sitting alone. Again.

3) He couldn't remember any time when he'd had lunch with Ed.

The choice was obvious. He gathered his food and a Dr. Pepper and sat down across from the alchemist.

"Hey, Ed. How are you?"

"Hey, Vic," Edward said, munching on a chicken finger. "Doing okay, I guess. I actually got out of bed before lunchtime today without Alphonse banging on my door, so I'm off to a good start."

"That's good," Victor said with a smile and took a bite od salad. "You're not usually late for classes are you?"

"Nah, most of my classes are in the afternoon. For precisely that reason." Edward nodded to himself. "What about you? How are your classes?"

"They're all over the place, but good. I just got back from Creature Languages, actually. We learned about how felines communicate."

Edward's chicken finger paused halfway to his mouth. "How... cats communicate." He took a bite and chewed for a minute. "Al's not in that class, is he...?"

"I don't remember seeing him, so if he is, then he's invisible. But yeah, how cats commuicate. It's actually really interesting. I'm actually thinking about setting up a small skit about a conversation between a cat and a rat."

Edward snorted at that mental image. "A cat and a rat. What, is the cat trying to talk the rat into his mouth or something?"

"Yeah, maybe something like that. Or the rat taunting the cat and that cat getting ticked off. Or maybe they accidently drank a love potion and are trying to woo each other."

He shook his head, then looked at his Dr. Pepper. "I hope they didn't put crack in this, 'cause that was kinda lame."

[ooc: I gotta get to PE, so I'll continue this later, if you want.]

"I think it sounds like great fun." Says Pippi slipping in next to Victor.

"Really? You think we could pull it off?"

[ooc: Sorry, got busy with school stuff. I'm back now, though.]

"Yeah sure." she said opening her soda.

"Why not?"

Victor shrugged. "I don't know...it was just a thought, really. But maybe it'd be fun to actually do. We'll have to ask Professor Dream if we can do it next week or something. What do you wanna be, the rat or the cat?"

"Um... How about if I be the cat?"

"Okay, cool. I'm better at Rat than Cat anyway. So we'll talk to Professor Dream next class?"

"Sounds like a plan!" she says.
