"Today you will not get muddy," Anakin promised with a smile as he and Ben loitered in the lobby of the Portalocity office.

"And if you've gotten better at boat paddling, you won't get wet, either!" Ben added, which was probably not what the students wanted to hear. "We're going to Argentina today, which is a country in South America, a continent below North America."

"South of it, even," Anakin added a bit dryly, and Ben blushed. "You know the way this works by now--we'll meet you at the finish line. Good luck, don't anger the locals...your time starts now."

Wait, wet?

Either paddle seven miles (with appropriate guides, as Ben and Anakin don't really want you to get lost or drown) down the Rio Mendoza through white water rapids, or pedal seven miles down a railroad track on a bicycle.

Once you get to the end of the trail, a guide will hand you your next clue!

You'll come into a campsite in the shadow of the Andes Mountains, where you will be treated to an Argentinian barbecue feast: you get to eat four pounds of cow rib, pork sausage, blood sausage, cow intestine, cow udder, cow kidney and part of a cow's salivary gland.

It looks like this:

Gee, I wonder what option a Water tribe girl might pick here.

Hint, it was the one with the boat.

Korra had gained enough time on the rapids that she decided to take her time and savour this roadblock. Because, mmm, delicious meat.

Sure there were already people here, but not as many as last week, and she'd just had four pounds of tasty animals, so really, Korra'd already won.

Theo Langstrom

Theo really didn't think he could do either, if he was honest. He was a distance runner, sure, but seven miles was seven miles.

He ended going with the bicycle and hopped down. He pedaled fast at the urging of Dev but that only made him tired quicker. So, while he made it, his legs felt like jelly as he headed to the next activity.

Theo didn't like the look of that meat. He sat down with the plate and started eating it but he ate very slowly. The tastes were unfamiliar and there was just so much of it that he knew he was going to end up with a stomachache later.

Even Dev and Ange shut up during this because they were both horrified.

Theo didn't think he finished last but he knew he'd done worse than previous weeks. And his stomach was making unpleasant sounds that typically meant he'd eaten too much.

This afternoon would be fun.

Alexandra Jones

Alex didn't take very long decided what to do. She went with the one she already knew how to do, ride a bike. She actually made very good time, something that surprised her.

Apparently, she was very determined today.

Maddie Berry

Alex was a bit horrified at this task, but she wasn't going to skip it. She sat down and took her time. It took awhile to get through it all, but she did it. Ugh.

She might become a vegetarian now.

Seven miles? Seven. Miles.

She knew how to ride a bike, so she went with that, even though it was down a railroad track. She went fast enough at first, but it didn't take long for her to slow down, and was there a complaint she could file about this?

Maddie did it. She did. It was actually easier when she could distract herself with revenge fantasies about punching her teachers for today, like right in the face. She could always claim she thought the younger one was a TA...

"NOT OKAY."

Guess who wasn't a fan of this class anymore.

Alex wasn't feeling well after that last task, but she was here. Somehow.

Victor was going for the bicycling because it seemed more straightforward than white water anything. The ride was hot and dusty, and seven miles was longer than it sounded when you hadn't been on a bike in recent memory. But he didn't fall off or get lost or anything, and he felt pretty good about his performance as he got to the end and picked up his clue envelope.
