Mathematics: All Classes: Wednesday 15.2.6: 1. period: TEST

The tables and chairs have been pushed apart today, because today is Test Day, oh yes.

Charlie is looking very pleased with himself as he hands out the test papers. Then he goes to sit down behind his desk and relax with some Sudoku puzzles.

(ooc: You have until Saturday to do the test, but please sign in today.
The Advanced pair will be given a more practical test as soon as I can think one up, so just sign in today and make paper airplanes or something.)

Victor smiled as he read over the test. Two of the terms were ones that he'd already defined in class, and he remembered the last one. yeah, studying was good.

1) Aliter - Latin for "otherwise" or "by another way".

2) If and only if - Used to show that if a statement is true, then the statement that it's connected to has to be true as well. The same goes if one statement is false.

3) Handwaving - Term to describe using mathmatical arguments that aren't neccissarily fully thought out or proven.
