Friendship 101, Wednesday, period 2
Today's class could easily have been in a regular classroom, but what fun would that be? Instead, the Danger Shop was programmed to be a giant crafting room, complete with butcher-block shop tables and wall shelves stocked up with every shade of construction paper, markers, puff- and regular pain, and, of course, glitter.
There was even a nice coating of glitter on most surfaces of the room already. Including Pinkie.
And Derek. Oh god why. He was very carefully not touching anything lest more glitter get on him. Somehow. It wasn't possible to be more glittery, but he wasn't taking that chance. "Today we're discussing forgiveness."
With glitter. Because nothing said "I forgive you" more than shiny sparkliness.
"Sometimes, your friends might do bad things without meaning to. Everypony makes mistakes! Even you! It's important when a mistake is made to be able to apologize, and to forgive."
"With a nice card," Derek added through clenched teeth. See, if he was going to ask for forgiveness, it would involve a lot more repression and soulful glances and lot less communication.
It was a wonder he had any friends left. "We have all the craft supplies you need!" Pinkie said. "Just remember, the most important thing about making an apology- or forgiveness-card."
Was it to speak from the heart? It was totally to speak from the heart, right?
"GLITTER!" Pinkie crowed, and threw down a little pink sparkly grenade, that exploded into EVEN MORE sparkly pinkness.
You're welcome.
