Flight- Monday- 3rd period
As it turned out, Jaina had really needed a week away. Not only was she in a better mood than she had been in recent weeks, but it had also influenced today's class.
The students were back in the flight shed today, and with some simulated firepower at their hands, hopefully it'd keep them happy for a week. "Today we're working with the clawcraft. It's another ship from my galaxy, mostly associated with an alien race called the Chiss. You sit in a ball cockpit, with curved wings around you, and you've got four cannons to work with. They're not as fast as some of the other things we've done, but it's got good maneuverability and can be fun if you're into that sort of thing."
She gave them a quick tutorial on how to work these ships, and then said, "You're going to be dogfighting against another one of these things. You're squaring off against trained pilots, so if you're not quick learning these things, you might have a little bit of trouble. And if you're into competition, you can go ahead and see if you can beat my scores." Which were definitely lower than Jag's. Which she knew currently because her boyfriend went ahead and bought his own simulator.
Sorry. She still wasn't over that.

Talk to Jaina
Re: Talk to Jaina
"Um...Miss Solo?" She was just going to play it safe, here. She actually liked the class, after all.

"I just wanted to know if there was a way for students to, er, book these simulators to use sometimes," said Emily, not managing to keep the hope away from her voice.
Re: Talk to Jaina
Which meant that she knew the stupid stuff kids did with this thing unsupervised because she'd done it, and now she knew better.
Re: Talk to Jaina
At least some adults lived and learned, it seemed.
