The students would enter today to find the Danger Shop set up like an old timey movie theater, complete with Pinkie in a striped shirt and a straw hat shilling popcorn.

"Hi everypony!" she greeted. "Today, we're going to watch a movie! About two best friends who nopony else things should be best friends. Enjoy!"

Pinkie had no such compunctions against sobbing in public. Which would possibly explain why she'd wrapped her spaghetti like front legs around Derek's waist and was sobbing into his shirt.
