Don't worry, Jeremy had asked for help. (He'd also remembered to send out an email about the location change. Go him!) The Danger Shop was currently a meadow on top of a little hill on a pleasant summer evening, and all above them the sky was dark and stars shone brightly.

"Today, we are being apathetic while gazing at the stars," Jeremy announced, flopping down onto his back on the grass. This was what you got for letting the underachieving astronomy geek be club president.

Oh, yeah. This was the sort of extracurricular Sparkle could get behind, right here.

"Nobody'll blame me if I like fall asleep or something, right?"

For whatever reason, he didn't think anybody would really care.

Jeremy glanced over. "Nah, man, I think that goes with the spirit of the thing. Knock yourself out, dude."

A beat.

"Uh, maybe not literally."

"Can you even knock yourself out in here? I'm pretty sure the rocks are, like, sponges or something if you try to beat yourself over the head with 'em."

So help him, now Sparkle was looking around for a rock so that he could prove his point.

"I mean nobody's died in here or anything yet, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get mutilated. Which is weird for a place with Danger right there in the name, isn't it?"

You were putting way too much thought into this, Sparks. At least for Jeremy's poor underused brain.

"I guess so," he hazarded. "But it's like, in a school, right? It's not like they could put us into any real danger. Not just for class. Unless they were training us to be ninjas or something."

... Man, he would've liked to go to ninja school.

"I bet if we looked hard enough, we could totally find classmates who are ninjas."

"But then, if we actually found them, I guess that would make them pretty crappy ninjas."
