Adventures in the basement..
After finishing her homework, and meeting with her new roommate, Duce decided to go on a gremlin hunt. She'd had a request to procure another gremlin, preferably a live one.
That could present a challenge. She wasn't used to keeping creatures alive. However, boredom reigned, and there was a possibility of earning some ready cash by selling the creatures as lab specimens.
She made a mental note of things she thought she'd need: fileting gloves, facemask, heavy canvas work overalls.. a trip to the local MegaMart would take care of most of that.
Duce had a vague thought of asking her new roommate along. Wednesday seemed like the type of girl who'd really appreciate a place like the basement. Perhaps there were others who'd like to go. Duce had heard about a group that wanted to go on a kill-hunt for the creatures, but killing things was so passe. No challenge to it, really. Catching them sounded like more fun.

"Chihaya! Hi! I haven't turned into a cockroach yet... glad to see you haven't yet, either. I'm keeping a close eye on Jiji, though. He ate a lot of those pancakes. I don't have class until this evening, so I'm just exploring the school right now. What's everyone up to?"
Kiki sees the girl with the snakey hair, and, although a little startled, says, "Hi! I'm Kiki."
She also smiles at the sight of another girl dressed all in black.
