Well, the library was no longer damp, so that was... something?
It was, however, covered in cotton balls. Seriously. Every available surface was piled with them. Wading to the circulation desk, he swept an armful off on to the floor and attempted to get to work.
The fact that the teapot was full of tea-soaked cotton balls was not exactly helping his mood.
