Apathy Club, A Classroom, Monday After Classes

A new term for classes, a new term for Apathy Club! It was actually kind of amazing, because this was easily the longest Jeremy had stuck with anything in his entire life.

Of course, he didn't exactly make it a grueling task for himself. Take today, for example: he was sitting behind the desk at the front of the class room, ready to give a lazy nod in greeting to anyone who happened to show up.

It was Apathy Club, people. The whole point was not to do things.

Sparkle had signed up for the two most polar-opposite clubs the school was offering this semester, yes. Maybe Apathy Club was supposed to make up for all of the cheerleading or whatever, later on.

Whatever, it wasn't like he cared.

He made himself comfortable in a seat near the back of the room and contented himself to paint his nails black.

Bay had signed up mostly because Jeremy was kind of entertaining and she figured she might meet more people if she had an activity.

Also, the idea of a whole club to be apathetic in made her smile.

She took a seat, propped her sneakers up on the seat in front of her, and started doodling in her sketchbook. That counted as apathy, right?

Dude seriously every time I'd worry that I was half-assing Apathy Club, I'd have to stop myself and go ".... wait. I'm supposed to."
