Spring 2013 Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon
Jackson couldn't believe he was here again. At some Maryland boarding school, and some... quaint little freaking club fair, heading a lacrosse group that was really his own personal stress relief than any kind of an actual team.
But he was here again. And his club was listed on the club schedule. Guess this was really happening. Again.
And this time, they even had cheerleaders.
Jackson sighed and went to set up his table.
[ocd up! FAIR AWAY!]

Not that she precisely minded being boring after the year she'd had.
Re: Talk to the Representative – Apathy Club [CF Spring 2013]
He also couldn't point out Kansas on a map but that was beside the point. "Fandom doesn't really do boring. Not even in the students."

Re: Talk to the Representative – Apathy Club [CF Spring 2013]
"So basically you're like the guys at my old school except with even more money."
But then, her dad was a former baseball player who owned car washes, so it wasn't like she came up from the mean streets herself.

"... Huh?"
No, seriously. He was clearly missing something here. Chalk it up to his skewed perception of reality where he was either around rich people or in Fandom.

"The school I went to since I was five," she explained, "is where all the rich people in KC send their kids. My dad owns car washes. I mean, yay money, it's just not" -- her lips quirked -- "quite in the same realm of awesome as a dinosaur."
Re: Talk to the Representative – Apathy Club [CF Spring 2013]
"No," he agreed, "but if they were available where I'm from, I could buy a dinosaur. Although my parents would probably make me give it to a zoo..."

"Ido know a lot of designers who'd probably be willing to experiment. Well, my sister does, anyway. There'd be dinosaur-inspired collections."
