There Will Be Cake [Tuesday, Period Three]

The Danger Shop was set up similarly to last week, except there seemed to be a great deal more ingredients, and each workstation was set up with a different set.

"Good afternoon," Bond greeted them. "We're continuing with baking this week, however we'll be doing something a bit different by making biscuits. By which I mean cookies, rather than what Americans refer to as biscuits, which are more like scones." Your teacher was British, deal with it.

"Now since there are more varieties of biscuits than you could count, you'll have a choice of several basic kinds to try to make today. You can choose to make only one, or you can try to make several if you think you're capable. There are also icing supplies if you wish to decorate the finished product."

Jim was...Jim was gonna attempt to make something simple. Yeah, yeah, he really liked cookies but they were usually made by someone else and not by someone as inexperienced as him.

But, he was gonna give chocolate chip cookies a try. And he was gonna start by reading the instructions.

Rilla could already make dandy shortbread, so she decided to make some Anzac Biscuits, which seemed like something that would travel well.

Hmmm. Maybe she should ask Mr. Bond if they could send their extra cookies to the front.

Cookies? With chocolate in them?!

Sholeh was making chocolate chip cookies. There was no way either of her sisters would let her choose otherwise.

Oh, chocolate. He may attempt other types if time permitted, but he was starting with the chocolate chip.
