"Crawly's hair?" Walter takes a bite of his meetbell and nods approviingly. The Swedish chef definitely does them well, although Walter wasn't going to give much thought to what the meet [sic] in a meetbell might be.

Maybe a bell will fall on his head later.

"Yeah, it must have been either very tasty hair or a very hungry thingy." she shruged. "We didn't stick around to see how that turned out... Apparently, they spoke Dragon, appart from their own language which I didn't get any of."

"You should tell Dream about it. Victor tried speaking Rat to them, but they did not seem to care." He worked on his speghettee for a moment. "They just came at us in an empty hallway."

"Yeah, and it sucked," Victor said as he sat down next to walter. His tray had a bit of everything that was being served.

"This better not be from Wonka's," he said as he squinted his eyes at the champagne.

Walter smiled when Victor showed up. Having seen both Nadia and Pippi, he was relieved that his boyfriend had escaped the prior night's adventures unscathed.

"Hey, we learned something last night and neither of us were hurt, so we can count that a success. We now know that camouflaging my hands is not a workable idea if I need to fight and I now know that you can deliver a mean slap with your tongue." And somehow, he just couldn't help laughing at the last part.

Victor scowled at Walter in a playful manner and stuck out his tongue. "I can do a lot more things with this," he said, giving a knowing smirk.

"So, did you get your present yet?"

Walter blushed a very timely Valentine's red at Victor's comment but nodded to answer his question. "Yes, I did, thank you very much." He leaned over to give Victor a kiss. If there was a day for public displays of affection, this was probably it by modern standards.

Victor smiled, then kissed back sweetly. "I got yours, too. Thank you."

He held out a chocolate-covered strawberry for walter to take if eh wanted and added, "The flower shop said that the arrangement was supposed to be British. Did I get it right?"

It was probably a measure of just how much effect Victor had had on Walter that he hesitated only for a second before taking the strawberry from Victor's fingers. There were a number of comments that came to mind, but Pippi was right there, so he limited his reaction to a wicked twinkle in his eye.

Victor saw the twinkle and smiled. "So, what time should I be ready tonight?"

"I will come by to get you around 9:30? I know it is a little late, but it is the best I could do. I think Alfred has something special planned to make up for it."

Victor raised an eyebrow at the time, but knew Walter couldn't help it. "9:30 should be okay. We'll just have a light dinner or something. Well, I probably will. After working all night you'll probably order fillet of horse."

[ooc: No prob. Tomorrow's probably gonna be a SP day for me anyway (before 4:30-ish MST, that is). Should I go make a room post, then?]

Walter glanced at Nadia, thinking of Old Man, and shook his head. "Of course not. We had rationing in London, but not quite that much."

"We thought they could be rats before we saw them... The just started trying to eat Nadia's legs... Angry little buggers they were."

"We didn't really get a good view of them. It was dark and by the time I was done, there wasn't much to examine." And on that note, Walter dug into his spaghetti dripping with red sauce with gusto.

Victor grimaced a little as he remembered the gruesome scene. He was used to it, but that didn't mean that hen liked it.

He decided to keep his mind off of it by changing the subject. "So, do you have any special Valentine's Day plans, Pippi?"

"I believe you." She said digging into her own pile of ~~blood and guts~~ spaghetti.

"We had more light and more time to get to know our adversaries."

"Lucky. It is good to know your enemy. Alfred will probably want detailed notes on the whole experience on Thursday."

"Well, if you want to pad your reports with information we gleened from the little ones we fought or 'Mama', I'd be happy to help."
