Philosophy 201- Monday- 1st period

Hopefully all the students knew how to use their email, or at least had some way of figuring out where the Danger Shop was, because if not... oops. Anyway, Jaye had sent notice to meet here for their first class, which was made up to look like a small, "this is where we put the movie that'd down to 10:45 pm showings" movie theater.

"So this is Philosophy, and the course description was totally right: you get to sit and watch movies for a semester," Jaye began, totally not thinking that maybe she should introduce herself or anything. "If you thought you'd be getting a real philosophy course... Well, let me save you the ton of money I got my parents to spend on college: 'Blah blah blah, here's a job with your name on your shirt.' Watching movies? A ton better. So sit back, talk, just don't set anything on fire."

And once the lights went down and the movie started, you had some idea of what you were in for this semester.

Just watching a movie, rather than do the usual hi-my-name-is spiel? Toby could deal with that.

Cade was a little annoyed that he wasn't allowed to set anything on fire (not that he would have, but being told not to meant all he wanted to do now was set things on fire), and after about fifteen minutes of watching the movie had no idea why anyone would want to have sex with either of these people.

The best friend's wife was weirdly familiar, though....

Juliet loved this movie. She was congratulating herself on her excellent decision to take a third class with Professor Tyler as she settled into her seat.

Anyhow, whether men and women could be friends struck her as quite the important philosophical conundrum.

You know, Jessica really thought the class description was a joke. Who calls a class 'Philosophy' if it wasn't going to be philosophy?

Still, she'd watch a New York movie.

Watching a movie on the first day of a new semester for a new class? Not having to introduce himself for the thousandth time?

Percy loved this class already. He was going to even put more effort into keeping his focus on the movie this time.

All bets were off the next class.
