Library, Thursday All Day
Evan knew there were no classes this week.
Or next week.
Or even the week after, for that matter.
And yet, here he was in the library, about as bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as a kid who had nowhere to go for Christmas possibly could be. Which was... not very, but he was making a spirited effort at at least appreciating the blinking holiday lights that were strung up around the room. Spirited, in that they were actually kind of annoying. How was he supposed to get any reading done while the light he was reading by consisted of twinkly icicle lights that didn't actually illuminate the page?
He sighed as he squinted at his book, too stubborn to give up without at least getting to the next chapter. He liked Christmas as much as the next kid, but this was getting crazy.
