Philosophy 102- Monday- 1st period- Class #14

For a moment Jaye just stood at the front of the Danger Shop Theater and looked a little pleased with herself as everyone got there and sat down. When they did, she started with, "I love not having to be all embarrassed about anything today."

Not that she would have been embarrassed even if she had been sixteen or whatever, because Jaye hadn't really changed a ton since then. All you really needed to do was look up a yearbook.

"Anyway, we have one more week after this and you're free. So until then I get to subject you to Mansquito, which is a movie about a man...squito. You know what, it's pretty self-explanatory, actually."

Juliet's essay began In some ways we are all mansquito and didn't really go uphill from there.

She had, however, gotten much better at BS'ing over the course of the semester.

Dave couldn't help but wish there was a sequel called Mansquitwo.

Dave wrote his essay on the fact that Mansquitos just want to have people like them in their peer group, and maybe destroy some stuff and whatever. And isn't that half of what we all want?

He did note that some people would choose the destroying half.

The crack about being matched up against a kind of authority that "can't loose" was not meant to be a joke as that reference was 9 years away for Dave.

I'm pretty sure I have, technically, apped Mansquito. But it was not taken seriously for some reason.
