The class was held in the computer lab, and Electroclash was looking about as lazy as usual, slouching behind the desk up front. "You are Fandom residents, so clearly your lives are not ordinary, and you may well find yourself trying to raise an alligator in your home in Corpus Christi, Texas," she started raspily, without preamble. "But guess what, that's illegal." That's what the internet told her, anyway. "Sure, it's rarely enforced, if ever, because it's a dumb fucking law, but it's still there. And you may wander to some places where a dumb law both exists and is rigidly enforced. So, it can be useful to be aware of some of the darling quirks of the law, if you're intending to wildly roam all over the place. Not because I don't think you should do them, but so that you have a fighting chance of not getting caught."

See, she cared about them!

"So, that's your task for the day. Research weird laws all over the globe." She nodded at the computers. "Get to it. Wouldn't want ya to get arrested for trying to sell cabbage on a Sunday in New Jersey." Beat. "Oh, and if you find anything particularly hilarious, please share."
