"I assumed as much, Miss Parker," Fraser says, nodding. "I wouldn't think students who have dealt with zombies and other unique issues would allow themselves to attempt anything while unprotected. I told the other student involved in this that I wouldn't be doing anything. I just wanted to know if everyone was all right."

Parker sighed. "Five people injured, only one seriously, and I think she's part super-hero, because she's fine now after having her lung collapse. The other five of us just got mental trauma. Or I should say four of us. Molly's completely fine." Parker handed him his books, and quietly said, "Thanks. We're okay. I'll tell them you asked. And if Darla stays in jail, and Crazy Squid Lady stays in hiding, maybe we won't have to do that twice."

"Thank you," Fraser says. "Honestly, I bet your group did better than I would've done at handling such a thing. Good job."

Parker's smile became more genuine. "Thanks. It helps to have a resident expert on the attacking team. Angel would have gone by himself if we hadn't whapped him over the head repeatedly to talk him out of it." She shrugged. "I don't know, you might have done better than Echolls or Mitchell. At least I assume you have more hand-to-hand combat experience than they do."

"Well, I wasn't there but your group seems to have done well enough. I'm glad you all came back safe," Fraser says, smiling. "Next time, though, let at least one authority figurek now what you're planning in case something does happen."

"Yes, Constable." Parker saluted him. "We'll inform all proper authorities. And a few of the improper ones."
