Creature Languages, 02/13, Period 3

Dream is not in the classroom today, but a raven with shiny eyes is perched on his desk, as if to oversee the students in his absence. In addition, there's small sack of heart-shaped cinnamon candies on each desk. The instructions written on the bulletin board read,

"Sign in and complete a quiz. You may then leave.

Matthew will contact me should there be problems, or I will be in my office later today."

[OOC: The quiz is taking one of the nursery rhyme translations completed on Thursday and putting it back into English, then listening to and transcribing a brief dialogue in Rat. Tell me what grade you got.]

Molly snickered. "I played Spin the Bottle on Friday. Well, mostly watched really. It was fun."

"That's the kissing game that everyone was talking about, right? It's cool you had fun!" Blair bounced and leaned forward. "So was there anyone special you were kissing?"

Molly shook her head. "I got picked very last so I just got a kiss from Rory. It was fun to watch though."

Blair blushed and became very interested in the bird at the front of the room. "That's...nice. So did you sign up for the tutoring program?"

"Not yet," Molly said with a shake of her head. "I saw the posters, but I didn't have a pen with me. I'll sign up on my way back from class."

"Cool! I checked the papers this morning and nobody has signed up yet. I'm wondering if I need to offer candy or something."

Blair bounced and nodded. "Okay, I'll get some candy and try again this week."

"So, what are your plans for Valentines?"

Molly shrugged. "Nothing specific. I was thinking about going down to that candy shop in town and seeing if there was any special candy on sale," she said with a grin. "Pink and chocolate are my favorite things about Valentine's Day."

Blair bounced. "That sounds cool. Maybe I'll see you in town tomorrow or something and can grab some coffee or chocolate together!"

Molly grinned. "Sure. As long as you don't expect me to actually drink coffee."

Blair bounced and grinned back. "I don't drink it that much either. It stunts your growth and believe me...I need all the growth I can get!"

Molly made a face. "I don't like the taste. Even filled with flavorings, all I taste is the coffee. Hot cocoa is much better." She gave a definitive nod.
