Student Council, Friday (during lunch)

When the students arrived in their usual room, they'd find a variety of sandwiches, fruits, and sweets waiting for them. There was also a cupcake with extra frosting for Petra, for being chosen as the Student Council president, because celebratory sweets was how they rolled where Minerva came from.

"Well," Minerva started, "it seems Parents Weekend was a success. The events were well attended and I received no reports of parents or other family members demanding to take their students home." It was possible that Minerva had learned to expect these sorts of things when parents were involved. "We'll be going on safari next week, so to speak, although I imagine some of you might want to spend more time with your families." And not potentially get eaten by a dangerous animal or something. "When we return from our break, it will be the week of Homecoming--" Yet another Muggle thing she was trying to understand "--so it would be best to discuss that today, I believe."
