Today the Danger Shop was set up like a larger version of the gym, where Jaina was standing with a sword in hand, pointed down since she wasn't going to be using it. Guess what you were doing today, kids!

"Glad to see you all survived the weekend, and it was good to see some of your relatives, even if some of it might have hurt my head a little," Jaina began with a lopsided smile. And with that part over, she lifted the sword and said, "Here's one I think probably none of you have used. This is a beskad, which is a sword made from a really durable metal that even withstands lightsabers. It's Mandalorian, which is a people whose entire was once based on battle, so they're serious about it. It handles a little differently than your lighter swords, so it might take a bit for some of you to get used to using it.

"Today you're going to get to pair together and swordfight," she went on. "That's why we're in the Danger Shop, where getting hit with these things won't actually lead to a clinic visit. So find a partner, get things going, and I'm right over here if you need any help."

It wasn't a lightsaber, so Cade wasn't freaking out too badly, and the heavier weight meant that his expertise a with lightsaber would hopefully not be as obvious.

"Do I want to know how much of that look is from Uncle Bantha?" Cade asked.

"Your uncle was completely fine," Jaina assured him. In fact she wanted to keep him here always. "A little weird to meet someone I'm going to meet in the future, but that happens here."

"Anyone else around? I was pretty scarce," he admitted. "Figured it'd be better to pick up the pieces after he left."

"Jagged Fel, and much younger versions of myself and Tahiri Veila. I'm not sure if you know those names or not." Silly Jaina.

"Fel's kind of familiar."

Cade thought he was hilarious.

"Somehow not surprising." Especially since if timelines panned out the same, he'd at least be in the history books in his current job if not as Emperor. "It made for an interesting weekend."

"Kind of sorry I missed meeting mini you," Cade replied.

He probably would have hit on her.

No, Cade. Just no.

"Don't be. I'm pretty sure teasing your teacher about what a brat she was in her teens is a detentionable offense," she smiled.

Hey now, teenage Jaina wasn't so bad... unless she thought she had a reason to yell at you, in which case good luck and godspeed.

"I haven't gotten detention yet," Cade realized. "That's odd."

"Congratulations," she told him.

"Feel like I should go punch someone now," Cade said.

"Let's skip that part," Jaina said immediately.
