Wild Roving, Thursday [27/09]
"So we're packed," Ronan said, "we know where we're going and what we want to do while we're there. We have cheap places to stay. What do we do next?
"Figure out how we're getting there."
The computers were available again; Ronan waved at them while revealing a list of places on the board. "Your goal today," he explained, "is to start here, at Fandom -- or, rather, at the closest airport, so let's say BWI -- and get to any three of these places for the cheapest cost you can find. You've got all the internet to look for deals; let's say... you need to leave sometime between now and next Thursday, and arrive back on the island four weeks after you leave. You can spend however long you like in each place, though, so work with that; and you don't need to restrict yourself to air travel. If you're in Europe, think about the train -- it'll probably be a lot cheaper."
[Wait for OCD is up!]

Speak to Ronan and the TA
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
You mind an old colleague crashing on ground floor this weekend?
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
Terribly. Clearly they'll have to sleep in the bathtub instead.
... Hopefully the humour would carry through.

Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
A moment later, it was followed by another text.
Any dietary requirements I should be aware of?

Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
Lots of greens, maybe -- he'd been thinking about picking up some kale anyway.
Duly noted. If I may ask, how brittle are we talking? Should I prep some bone-healing spells?
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
Just in case. His case is, uh. Well, it's manageable. In my time.
That last part being the operative one.
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
Spells it was.
I've got a few in mind that'll probably come in handy. When's he get in?
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
Another text followed shortly after.
Don't get me wrong about any of this. Joker's a really capable guy. Best pilot in the fleet.
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
It really hadn't. Obviously brittle bones would restrict his physical activities to a degree -- at least in the present; Ronan wouldn't even begin to guess how it might be managed in Kaidan's own time -- but it's not like they affect his brain. For that matter, there were plenty of wizards who lived careers where brittle bones wouldn't be a hindrance.
... Not any of Ronan's close friends, admittedly, but then they were rather an exception to most rules.
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
Also he was being kind of ridiculously awkward, but that was kind of par for the course for Kaidan.
Just saying it up front, because Joker's... well, you'll have to meet him.
Re: Speak to Ronan and the TA
There weren't words for Sparkle to express just how much he loved Google.
Because he'd be kind of doomed without it, oh yes.
