Wild Roving, Thursday [27/09]

"So we're packed," Ronan said, "we know where we're going and what we want to do while we're there. We have cheap places to stay. What do we do next?

"Figure out how we're getting there."

The computers were available again; Ronan waved at them while revealing a list of places on the board. "Your goal today," he explained, "is to start here, at Fandom -- or, rather, at the closest airport, so let's say BWI -- and get to any three of these places for the cheapest cost you can find. You've got all the internet to look for deals; let's say... you need to leave sometime between now and next Thursday, and arrive back on the island four weeks after you leave. You can spend however long you like in each place, though, so work with that; and you don't need to restrict yourself to air travel. If you're in Europe, think about the train -- it'll probably be a lot cheaper."

Stephanie sat down and started looking up prices and itineraries, and even with the cheapest travel she could find the cost was, by her standards, exorbitant.

In case you were wondering why exactly there was so much wincing going on at her computer station . . .

Anna wasn't sure how she was going to swing this, what with the being dead and not having a passport thing. Well, Canada was easy enough, but the rest of the list...she supposed she could always just be invisible over the borders?

On a less metaphysical level, she was struggling with the computers, and kept muttering, "HOW much?" disbelievingly.
