Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Jackson got to the gym early. He took his mission of establishing a sports team in Fandom pretty seriously, see. That involved making something of an effort, and showing up early to check out the competition (yes, he viewed the other clubs as competition, deal with it) was the least he could do.

He grabbed a copy of the club schedule for himself before he went to set up his table.

"Sure," Petra said. Since that Miley girl stopped coming to meetings, anyway, but she'd graduated by now anyway. "It's great. And I'm not just saying that because I run the club."

"Mostly? Hang out and talk about our shit and eat cupcakes," Petra said with a shrug. "I want to do some more organized activities this year, though. Why, do you have ideas?"

"What? Ideas?" Sparkle blinked. "Uh, trust me, I am so not the idea guy, if you want ideas that aren't going to get the club disbanded by the administration within a week."

He actually felt that this was something he ought to be up-front and honest about. There was a club. He didn't want to wreck that.

"Wouldn't want to mess with the organizing." Sparkle held up his hands in surrender, and then a moment later pointed at the cupcakes. "I'll make extra sure I don't start sharing my stupid-ass ideas around if I can take one of those, though."

... Yes, he knew they were there to be taken. But it was easier to swallow the idea of behaving himself if he could at least pretend he was getting a bargain for it.
