Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Jackson got to the gym early. He took his mission of establishing a sports team in Fandom pretty seriously, see. That involved making something of an effort, and showing up early to check out the competition (yes, he viewed the other clubs as competition, deal with it) was the least he could do.

He grabbed a copy of the club schedule for himself before he went to set up his table.

Jackson's expression darkened considerably. "Of course," he said, not even bothering to hide his disdain a little bit. "And is he anything like you?"

That finally got a frown out of him. "Have you not met Thor yet?"

"I asked the administration for someone suitable."

He didn't want to risk his sanity by going near the actual office again, thanks.

"Ah." Loki eyed the booth again. "Is it a violent sport?"

"Contact sport," Jackson replied, grudgingly, kind of hoping it'd deter Loki from wanting to participate. "So yes."

"I will join then, I believe. Thor can be very enthusiastic." And break you poor mortals.

For a second, Jackson honestly considered snatching the sign-up list away and holding it hostage until Loki went away.

He didn't, though. Because it would have been ridiculous.

"He's not actually expected to play," he said instead, a little sourly. "But the sign-up list is right over there."

Loki gave him a pitying look for that. "Yes, and perhaps one day he shall learn what an 'inside voice' is. But, until such a day arrives, I shall be there to assist him in his dealings with the denizens of Midgard."

Jackson rolled his eyes.

"Just sign your damn name."

This was going to be so awesome.
