Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Jackson got to the gym early. He took his mission of establishing a sports team in Fandom pretty seriously, see. That involved making something of an effort, and showing up early to check out the competition (yes, he viewed the other clubs as competition, deal with it) was the least he could do.

He grabbed a copy of the club schedule for himself before he went to set up his table.

Better than him at playing (ahaha no) or at creatively channeling their aggression and resentment? Because um.

"I'm sure equipment can be arranged," Jackson said, a little dryly. He didn't really feel like dealing with the administration again after the moose incident, but he had his ways of getting them equipment. "A baseball bat won't do."

She was probably joking about that, Jackson.

"It's against the rules," Jackson said, only slightly less dry. He had to admit, though, he did kind of like her attitude. If they were ever going to get to play against another team, he needed people like that on the field. "We'll play with normal equipment." He nodded towards the sign-up list. "List's there."

"Not breaking pretty faces." Yes, he meant his. No, he wasn't even a bit apologetic about that. "They're surprisingly necessary."

"Well, we're going to be using proper equipment," Jackson reiterated. The shoulder McCall had busted not too long ago said so. "We're doing this right."
