When Bond's class arrived at the Danger Shop, they would have found themselves on a balcony overlooking a crowded marketplace, one long enough that they could all take a place at the railing against which Bond was currently leaning.

"Good afternoon," he greeted them. "The thing with learning to blend in, is that you just can't just be given a list of dos and don'ts which are universally applicable. While there are certain things which may hold true, such as the fact there is nothing as conspicuous as someone trying too hard to be inconspicuous, every situation is different, and the only way to learn how to blend in across multiple situations is to learn to read them and thus to figure out what behaviour stands out and which blends in. So today we're going to be doing some simple observation exercises. I want you to watch the people below us as they go about their business, and note down anything which seems out of place or which draws your eye. I also want you to figure out why it did so. After a while we'll observe a different group of people and do the same thing."

From the clothing stalls to the food carts, the market place is bustling with all kinds of ~~moddable~~ activity. Some things which might catch your attention are the pickpockets near the jeweller, the dog stealing sausages from the butcher, the man in the red and white striped jumper and bobble hat who seems to show up in a different part of the market every time you look away from him, the cook who seems to be catching rats, and brewing food fight in the fruit and vegetable stands.

It's entirely possible the beach is even more crowded than the market, or at least more naked ~~equally moddable though~~. Some potential eye-catchers are the couple in neck-to-knee swimwear, a landshark (complete with candygram), the man in the red and white striped jumper and bobble hat who seems to show up on a different part of the beach every time you look away from him, and the the skeet surfers.

Who keeps licking his lips distractedly. He doesn't need to be tasting that particular cocktail now.

Percy was still learning how to focus on things for longer than five seconds so this exercise would be interesting for him. He did manage to catch the cook trying to catch rats (and man, he hoped that cook washed his hands) but he tended to miss everything else as his attention would be drawn away quickly to something else.

The beach meant Percy was a little more focused on some things but a little less focused on others. He loved the water and he wanted to be in it so he was able to easily catch sight of the people in the weird swimwear.

And then he wondered if they were from another country or something.
