Rita smiled widely at the class as they filed in.

No, not a nice smile. It was anyone's guess as to why she was so pleased.

"Good morning, boys and girls. Today we're going to do something a little different - namely, conduct interviews. You're each going to be given a list of questions to ask your interviewee, and I expect to receive detailed answers."

She began to pass out the questions. "Naturally, if you're uncomfortable, your grade will not suffer for not answering the questions. They get progressively more...inquisitive, so please, just answer up to your comfort level. This is an exercise in learning our boundaries, after all."

She finished passing them out, and with a flick of her wand, names appeared in the air.

Krycek, Alex - Barbossa
Trebond, Alanna - Callistie
Fraiser, Janet - Sullivan, Chloe
Thrace, Kara - Mars, Veronica
Echolls, Logan - ...?

"Oh dear. Mr. Echolls, it seems you're partnerless. Oh, well. You'll be working with me, in that case," Rita said, full of sympathy. Probably.

[ooc: Okay, here's the deal: I know these questions might be problematic for some characters. Trust me, I get that. So honestly, if you don't think your character would be comfortable answering them all, just have them stop where they're comforable, or skip to the ones that they don't mind answering. Callisto looked glad for the disctraction. "Uh, I was send here, by the Thracian Women's guild, wasn't my idea. You?"

"Lost a bet." Alanna didn't add on any details. "Is your family functional?"

"They're dead, you can't get any less functional than that," Callisto replied sharply, then shook her head. "Sorry, not your fault. How'd you luck out there?"

Alanna snorted. "Father dearest blamed Mum's death on twin and me. Father dearest didn't acknowledge that we were around. Father dearest got rid of us when we hit eleven. Very functional." She glanced down at the list of questions. "'Describe a memorable event that shaped your family for better or worse.' Fun."

"A warlord named Xena brought an army to our village and killed everyone, that changed the shape of my family pretty quickly," Callisto might have started drawing elborate torture devices with a familiar looking blonde in them. "You able to beat that?"

"Not going to try. Our lives suck." Alanna summarized. "Um, memorable event for me would be switching places with twin and hiding my gender for six years. It effected mine and twin's life, anyway. Let's see...siblings, do you have any and do you like them?"

"Not anymore, but I did love my sister while she was alive," Callisto dropped the broken halves of her pen on the desk and fished a new one out of her bag. "So you like your twin?"

"I might be the only one." Alanna replied glumly. "He loves two things in the world: himself, and his power. He includes me in that list sometimes because I'm the only person he's got." She sighed. "We're very different." She glanced at the question. "Let's get all of six in one fell swoop?"

"Works for me, okay, Yes, ~~he does things like kiss Kry for me~~ he's sweet, but he tends to need an inordainate amount of head-thwapping, a thousand times no, not sure but it'll probably end in scrapbooking." It was possible Callisto breathed at somepoint there. Unlikely but possible.

Alanna's ears turned a nice red shade. "Um, yes, I do. I like um, well, he's sweet and handsome and strong and um, I don't like that he's in a different world right now. And for Valentine's Day I'm probably going to be somewhere ignoring all the smoochy couples and trying not to mope." Alanna blinked at question seven. "Um...?"

"They're a lovely shade of NoneofSkeeter'sgodsdamnbusiness," Callisto replied smoothly. "Can I assume yours are the same?"

"Oooh yes. And the same to question number eight." Alanna was now very red.

"Agreed, " Callisto looked at the list again. "I think that's it for us."

"Who do you think wound up with most mortifying interview?"

Callisto didn't even have to think. "Logan, definitely Logan."

Alanna glanced over at Rita and Logan and nodded with a sigh. "Hands down. Though we might win for 'most depressing'."

"Go Team Us," Callisto deadpanned.
