Rita smiled widely at the class as they filed in.

No, not a nice smile. It was anyone's guess as to why she was so pleased.

"Good morning, boys and girls. Today we're going to do something a little different - namely, conduct interviews. You're each going to be given a list of questions to ask your interviewee, and I expect to receive detailed answers."

She began to pass out the questions. "Naturally, if you're uncomfortable, your grade will not suffer for not answering the questions. They get progressively more...inquisitive, so please, just answer up to your comfort level. This is an exercise in learning our boundaries, after all."

She finished passing them out, and with a flick of her wand, names appeared in the air.

Krycek, Alex - Barbossa
Trebond, Alanna - Callistie
Fraiser, Janet - Sullivan, Chloe
Thrace, Kara - Mars, Veronica
Echolls, Logan - ...?

"Oh dear. Mr. Echolls, it seems you're partnerless. Oh, well. You'll be working with me, in that case," Rita said, full of sympathy. Probably.

[ooc: Okay, here's the deal: I know these questions might be problematic for some characters. Trust me, I get that. So honestly, if you don't think your character would be comfortable answering them all, just have them stop where they're comforable, or skip to the ones that they don't mind answering. Rita smiled sweetly. "I prefer Ms., but otherwise correct, yes." She leaned back and surveyed him. "You're Logan Echolls, you're seventeen and from California. I remember this much from when you introduced yourself the first day," she lied. "Now, why did you come to Fandom?"

"For school," Logan said. "Best teachers around." He gave her a charming smile. "How old are you, Ms. Skeeter? And where were you born?"

"Thirty-six," Rita said, straight-faced. "And I was born in Brighton, England. What are your parents' names, dear? And what do they do?"

"My mother's name is Jane," Logan said, equally straight-faced. "She's a housewife. My father's name is Maxwell, but everyone calls him Max. He's a toaster salesman."

"Lying? Really?" Rita asked pitingly. "Come on now. We both know that's not true."

"And we both know you're not thirty-six," Logan smiled. "It's just an exercise. The answers don't matter."

"The difference being that you have no proof of my age, whereas I have proof that your parents are not named Max and Jane," Rita said with a raised brow. "So, do you consider your family - and by family, I mean Aaron, Lynn and Trina Echolls - to be functional?"

She tilted her head, smiling.

"More functional than, say, the Manson family, yes," Logan said.

"I have no idea what that means," Rita said.

A lime green quill on her desk leapt up, and began to write just out of Logan's reach.

"Anyway. Something that impacted your family? With the understanding that I know a bit about your background and I can certainly find out if you're lying."

Logan leaned back and put his hands behind his head. "I think we've reached my 'comfort level' for questions, so we'll be stopping here."

"That's fine," Rita replied smoothly. The quill raced across the page, and she smiled slightly wickedly. "I'll just do some research. Pity you didn't share your celebrity with the class, Mr. Echolls. I was certainly surprised when I found out."

"Then I must not be all that famous, if you hadn't heard of me," Logan said.

"Different worlds, Mr. Echolls. I'm quite famous where I'm from. But seeing as how you're not magic, you wouldn't know. And likewise," Rita smirked.
