Study Hall -- Tuesday, September 13th

Welcome to Tuesday's study hall. Please try not to blow anything up.

A few announcements:

-- It's been requested that [livejournal.com profile] trulydeath please post office hours so that the students may know when to visit.

-- Yesterday's Junior Achievers meeting was apparently a rousing success. (OOC: As evidenced by the three hundred emails in my account when I got off work yesterday. HEE! I love email. :)) Junior Achievers should understand that I will not tolerate more than one attempt a week to take over any and all worlds, planets and dimensions without the proper permission slips.

-- Please be informed that there was a sighting of a student being shoved into locker 327. If someone could retrieve her from whichever world she landed in, it would be appreciated. If not ... well, hell, I'm sure she'll wander back eventually. Hopefully, with all of the limbs she left with.

-- The cafeteria staff would like to warn the student body that they wouldn't recommend the sweet potatoes (because they could cause you to spend the rest of the day spontaneously bursting into Billy Joel lyrics at the top of your lungs), the macaroni and cheese (because it could either cause all of your hair to fall out or grow exponentially, depending on the dosage), or the cheeseburgers (because they taste awful and are made with neither cheese nor burger).

-- There may be a small gremlin infestation in the study hall bookshelves. That's your warning.

Nothing all that interesting, really. Working on my homework for Professor Gandalf--do you have him? He's totally creepy. Trying to look intelligent in Advanced Negotiations. Certainly not brooding about Padme. Nope.

Oh, and Lee Adama tried to braid my hair last night. *looks outraged*

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Can't have that. Bad hair leads to bad things," Angelus sat back, stretching his legs out under the table. "So, Padme, huh? How's that going?"

[identity profile] emo-padawan.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Going? Like being vaped in space. Like being sat on by a bantha. Like other not-good things.

I'm going to go say hello during her office hours, though. See if I can actually figure out what's going on before Belthazor other students start moving in.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
"Man, you think other students would really do that?" Angelus asked. "Why, are they hanging around her a lot?"

[identity profile] emo-padawan.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
You weren't here last week, were you? I'd forgotten. I think half of Advanced Negotiations was throwing themselves at her at one time or another.

And who wouldn't? *sighs* I mean, the hair, the eyes, the intelligence. Okay, the dresses are a little strange, but that's just a Naboo thing.

Sometimes I'm not sure if knowing her forever is a good thing or a bad.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
"No, didn't get a chance to meet her," Angelus admitted. He leaned forward, giving Anakin his full attention. "Tell me all about her. You think she's beautiful, huh?"

[identity profile] emo-padawan.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Amazingly beautiful. *laughs* First time I saw her, I thought she was an angel or something--nothing real could be that gorgeous. She has these beautiful brown eyes that sparkle when she's laughing and shine when she's talking about something that really matters to her. And her hair, when it's not up in some painful-looking hair-art thing, goes past her waist. And her skin's so smooth and not like sand, which is rough.

*coughs, realizes he's being a little ridiculous*

And she's got a great rack, man. Top notch.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oo, hair and a rack," Angelus grins. "Sounds like true love to me."

[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
*just listens to all this, keeping a thoughtful eye on Angelus. Evil politely recognizing evil and all.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't think we've really met," Angelus said, turning to him. "Have we? We have a class together or something?"

[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
We haven't, not officially. Are you taking Abnormal Psychology from Drusilla? I've recently signed up for that, our paths might have crossed.

*sets textbook aside, offers a hand* Julian Sark. Anakin and I met through the flyers' club, more or less. And a mutual appreciation of the Advanced Negotiation Professor

And you...you are the person forced to room with his worst enemy by the Principal, I believe? *small smile* Hard to miss that little altercation.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
"Angelus," Angelus offered his hand to shake in return. "Dru and I are... related, so maybe you're picking up that. And yeah, Connor forced me to room with Harris. Just my luck, huh? Being forced to room with somebody who's neck I'd love to snap, if that didn't involve touching him." Angelus watched Sark's reaction to that last comment carefully, wondering if he was around a kindred spirit.

[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
*nods* Neck-snapping also has the detriment of leaving traceable fingerprints. Poison has its uses, as does a quick clean head shot. However, I'm fairly sure such straightforward methods would lead to expulsion, and believe me when I say that my guardian would make me wish for a neck-snapping if I were expelled.

*small smile turns rather wicked* I shall have to learn more subtle methods, I suppose. Fortunately, my roommate and I get on, and I foresee no need to dissolve his body using his chemistry set, or something similar.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
Angelus took all of that in. Without skipping a beat, he said, "You know I'm starting this club. Just might interest you."

[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
*looks vaguely interested* Oh? What sort of club? I give you fair warning, though, I've six classes as it is, as well as living on the maddest floor of the dorms. I'm verging on giving up sleep.

*unobtrusively rests one hand on the butt of the gun in his waistband*

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
"Nothing much," Angelus said. He pulled a flyer out of his notebook (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/50959.html) and handed it to Sark. "Just a little thing I'm whipping together."

[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
*reads the flyer, eyebrows slowly lifting* If you'll inform me when the next meeting is taking place, I think I will attend. How pleasant to find like-minded individuals.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Be happy to," Angelus smiled. "I like finding like-minded people too. Hard task, in a place like this. So - you been into death long?"

[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
*shrugs* It's not death in particular. Death is merely a fairly common by-product of assassination, espionage, governmental overthrow, and fanaticism. *thin smile* Which are my hobbies.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
"What's your feeling on lawyers?"

[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
*makes a brief face*

Use them as needful, then execute them and dispose of the bodies. Never leave anyone alive who knows even a fragment of the truth when their usefulness is gone.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
"So you at least agree they're evil," Angelus said.
