"Hey, everyone," Ronan said, as his class came in and sat down. "Hope you all had a good week. This time around, we're going to get a little more into the meat of things -- this will probably be the one seriously technical class, so don't worry, it's not all going to be like this -- as we talk about arousal."
He let that sit for a moment; he was pretty sure most sex ed classes didn't broach the topic this way, but it was an angle that he thought deserved to be covered. "First off, Liaraif she's here, let me know if you need me to go into more detail about anything, either now or after class. There's probably some general information I'm forgetting that you'll need." Ronan considered that for a moment. "Same goes for everyone, really; I'm sure there are terms I take for granted you might not be familiar with, so if you need any definitions or anything, let me know. At any rate, sometimes -- for most humans, barring asexuality or other factors where there's a general lack of sexual desire -- you're going to want to have sex. I don't mean that in a vague, nebulous-y way; rather, I mean that in the, 'you are in a relationship with someone and want to have an intimate experience' way, or, if you're anything like I was in high school, the 'oh, hey, nice shoes, wanna fuck?' way." Ronan paused. "Not that it was ever a matter of their shoes," he clarified, with a rueful grin.
"But while most of you are probably familiar with what happens when you see someone you want to have sex with, you may not know much about how your body is actually responding. Interestingly, for both men and women, it basically comes down to blood." He flicked his wrist at his desk -- it looked flashy, but really he was just tying the wizard's knot on a spell he'd prepared. A softly glowing 'hologram' sprung up over his desk: a penis. "In men," Ronan continued, "when sexually stimulated, the penis becomes erect -- that is, blood flows into spongy tissue, the corpora cavernosa and the corpus spongiosum, such that the organ lengths, thickens, and hardens." Running his hand along the surface of his desk (actually across the spell circle, although his students probably couldn't see that) caused the penis to enter an erect state. He pushed it aside as he continued, bringing up an image of female genitals instead. "Similarly, as blood flow increases into female genitals, the labia majora and minora swell and flush, the clitoris grows erect, and vaginal lubrication begins." Ronan grinned at the class as he dismissed the images with a wave.
"Additionally, there are a number of physiological symptoms of arousal shared by both men and women. Heart rate increases, the pupils dilate, breathing becomes rapid and shallow. The nipples tend to become erect and sensitive. Eventually, as arousal heightens, the body reaches orgasm, or sexual climax, wherein one's muscles contract spasmodically, men usually ejaculate, women can ejaculate, and generally speaking one experiences a number of rather pleasurable sensations. In men, this is usually followed by what's called the 'refractory period,' which is a state where sexual arousal tends to be more or less impossible, to the point where physical stimulation -- touching or rubbing of the penis -- can actually be painful. Women, however, don't really have a refractory period, allowing multiple orgasms.

As it was, she was mostly squinty, and occasionally took notes (and one discrete HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY IS VERY STRANGE that she fitted awkwardly in a corner). Really, though: that male organ looked like it was downright uncomfortable.
