"Grail quests. On my desk," Camulus orders. He's looking a little distracted today which may or may not have anything to do with Orlin. "And now on to a related topic, but instead of making you read and taxing your poor brains, we'll be watching a film entitled 'The Mists of Avalon', which provides a more female perspective of the legends. Sit down. Be quiet. Pay attention."

John turns in his assignment and watches teh flick. He craves popcorn.

Lyta signs in, making sure to add her assignment to the stack. Settling in to watch Mists of Avalon she frowned. She'd read the book and not been terribly impressed. It was interesting to her, the shift from the traditionally masculine Arthurian tales to the female-oriented, new-age tales. And, while she was certainly one for equality, she had to admit she was much more of a traditionalist.

Her scowl deepened. The movie wasn't all that hot, either.

Lyta secretly longed for the day when someone would make a good Arthurian movie...because Excalibur, King Arthur, and Merlin just didn't cut it.

MacB signed in, handed in his (somewhat acceptable) paper, and sat back to watch the movie.
Women. With power. What a novel concept. Now where had he seen something like that before?
He really felt for poor Arthur.
Ugh. Females.
