Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Well.

It was raining popsicles and suntan lotion today. Because Fandom liked to make the newbies cry sometimes. Yes, the island had a sense of humor about these things.

We've all learned to accept that and move on with our lives. Well, all of us except for Britta. But she's the worst.

Prof Tomoe was pleased at how the welcome picnic was developing. He'd needed a distraction from the fruitless hunt for talismans and this seemed as good a place as any to spend some time. He'd worried that this might have been one of those boring normal schools, but those fears seemed soundly waylaid by the large amounts of sunscreen falling from the sky.

The popsicles were better than expected. He'd managed to nab a cherry one before it hit the ground and was happily enjoying it while taking in the scene.

Somehow, he was still managing to keep his face cloaked in shadows.
