Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Well.

It was raining popsicles and suntan lotion today. Because Fandom liked to make the newbies cry sometimes. Yes, the island had a sense of humor about these things.

We've all learned to accept that and move on with our lives. Well, all of us except for Britta. But she's the worst.

[Please wait for OCD is up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible.]

Yakko was at the picnic, ready to meet his new teaching buddy.

So, seriously, they gave this guy a teaching buddy. Why would anyone do that? WHY?

A better question was probably why he was sitting on a bucket labeled "Icy Hot." He had his reasons.

Someone had to ask. "Why are you sitting on a bucket of Icy Hot?"

"Do you really want to know?" Yakko asked.

"...Yes?" Stacey said, suddenly not sure she did.

"If you must know, I'm sitting on it because it's too small to lie down on," Yakko answered.

"Oh."

She paused.

"I guess that makes sense?"

"No, this makes cents," Yakko said, pulling a scale model of a US Mint from behind the bucket.
