"Hi everypony!" Pinkie called, waving her hoof from where she stood atop a 1400 pound cheese wheel just inside the door to the Danger Shop. "Welcome to our very last Adventures Through History class! I figured that we'd better go out with as big a history-packed bang as we could, so today we're honoring seven whole awesome parties from Earth history!"

Yep, the pony had discovered Cracked.com. This might just end in tears. Drunken, inappropriate tears.

"We've got Andrew Jackson's giant cheese wheel," she said, gesturing to the cheese beneath her hooves. "We've got Moscow's sea of vodka!" She pointed over to one side, where the students would see a short street lined with onion-domes and excited Russian revelers holding bottles. It was possible she wasn't entirely clear on what vodka was. But don't worry, it's only illusory vodka. No one would be leaving class drunk, today. "We've got Henry VIII of England and Francis I of France's Field of Cloth of Gold!" This time, it was a giant tent -- though not as giant as history would say the tent should be -- painted to look like a castle, in which there were huge tables full of food and knights riding about waiting to joust. "We've got Philadelphia's Constitution party!" Ben Franklin and George Washington were in that direction, pretending to fence with a couple of chamber pots. "The first show at the Colosseum!" An arena in miniature, in which toy boats were shooting at each other. "Alexander the Great at Perseopolis!" He hasn't started burning anything down yet, but the bunch of Macedonian soldiers hanging out in that corner were definitely starting to look tipsy. "And the last great bash of the Wari people!" These guys, on the other hand, had set a fire, a nice, contained bonfire they were throwing cups at. "So lets get down, get funky, and celebrate history!"

And Pinkie started dancing on the cheese.

Alas, there are no presidents here to hear your fringe group's lobby. But, well, big block of cheese!

Richie wandered over to the cheese. Partially because he was hungry and partially because the giant block of cheese was bizarre enough that he felt like he needed to check it out.

Join the Russians in celebrating the defeat of the Germans in World War II! It's the party so big that Moscow completely ran out of vodka.

Ham it up with Henry VIII and Francis I, before they get to wrestling and decide to go to war. Food! Drink! Joust!

Cassidy was trying to see everything and everyone here -- and may have had to dodge seeking hands of some of the knights. (She may have kicked a shin or two.)

Eat, drink, and be merry with 55 of the United States of America's founding fathers! I hear Ben Franklin is especially a hoot.

Get into a naval battle in the miniature Colosseum! Danger Shop safety settings are in action, so at least you won't end up on the wrong end of an angry warship.

He conquered the known world, but can he conquer a great time? Get in and find out before he starts getting ideas about avenging the Greeks.

We don't know entirely what they're doing, and we really have no idea why they're doing it, but these pre-Colombian South American natives sure know how to throw a bonfire.

Mercy decided to hang out here at the bonfire.

Uh oh. Looks like Ben Franklin accidentally threw a tankard at Henry VIII's head. And Alexander the Great is looking inspired by the Wari's festivities. And the mini Colosseum is leaking into the Moscow street.

Now there's a whole bunch of holographic representations of drunken historical figures fighting with each other. With booze and fire.

"Quick!" Pinkie called. "Everypony on the cheese!"

Cassidy was up on the cheese as soon as Pinkie suggested it.

So, this was what parties in Earth's history looked like...

[Which cheese, you know, came from near where the mun grew up.]

Mercy joined Cassidy up on the cheese.

"This has no relation to what things were like, you know?" She considered. "Mostly."

Cassidy gave Mercy a cheerful smile.

"I have no idea what's going on," she admitted.

"Well, as long as you don't take it for historical fact you should be fine," Mercy said with a grin. "Or, you know, any of this class. Except in the broadest details."

"I was beginning to think that Earth history was very confusing."

"Oh, don't get me wrong," Mercy said quickly, "It can be pretty confusing. And all of her lessons have some basis in fact, but... nothing like this ever happened." She looked down at where Ben Franklin had just bashed one of the Wari with his chamber pot.

Cassidy's eyes were wide as she watched what was going on and then looked back at Mercy.

"So there weren't big fights like this?"

"Big fights, yes. Like this? Not exactly." Mercy grinned at her. "Not to mention that these are all from, you know, completely different times and places."

"It's a bit confusing, Mercy."

"Just imagine if someone took a whole bunch of different events from your culture and made them into, well, silly stories for the children and then mixed them all together. That's what this is," Mercy explained. "If you want to know more about real Earth history I can get you some books."

Cassidy looked at Mercy. "Please? I like learning all about Earth."

"Sure," Mercy said. "Any time you'd like. Probably better to do once we get back to the dorms, though. This tent business makes everything tough."

If they're not partying it up themselves.

How? How had Cara's life come to this?

Mercy just shook her head and went to party with the Wari.

She was around if anyone needed her.

She's sticking to her cheese dancing, her.

Yeah, I have no idea where this is going. This is what happens when you read Cracked while slightly feverish.
