When the students all go there today, they'd find Jaye starting with, "Hope you all had a good day off- Oh wait, we don't get holidays off here. Nevermind."
She'd have been bitching up a storm if her class had been on a Monday this session. Seriously.
"Anyway, today you get to show me what you got for last week's prompt of 'turtles and/or pies.' And for next week, you're going to show me.... architectural photos. Of buildings and stuff." Like Jaye had a plan before she came in here. "And has no one really gotten a gremlin bite picture yet? This is week four? Stir things up, you guys, it's for extra credit. God."

workedwas basically enslaved at Turtle & Canary, she thought this one was a pretty easy assignment, even if Apu had bitched her out as usual for what was left in the store when she was done."As you can see," she said, presenting a somewhat off center shot of Turtle struggling to climb out of a hole in a pie in which Brita had put him, "this is a picture of a turtle in a pie. It represents how capitalism and corportations, aka Turtle & Canary, provide us a service that we think we want, such as delicious pie, when, in reality, it is only serving us something that is not actually any good for us and will make us sick if we consume too much of it. It's a warning to consumes to think twice before they say to themselves, 'I think I'll have just one more slice.'"
She nodded her head. "Thank you."

If that didn't make it absolutely apparent how much he'd half-assed the assignment, Jaye was clearly audible in the background saying "is week four? Stir things up, you guys, it's for extra".
