Boone moves to take a seat, grabbing only the fries - he was a vegetarian these days - and a soda. He lights a cigarette, looking around the sparse cafeteria.

Nadia grabs the suoop. She's not that hungry, since she's been snacking on Parker's candy most of the morning, but she figures she should eat something at least vaguely nutritious.

Then she spots the guy she saw talking to Walter and friends yesterday. Her eye takes on a determined gleam.

"Hi," she says, looking a little shy. "Can I join you?"

Pip grabs some Purk Chups and sits down at a seperate table. He taps his foot nervously and looks around for Angel before lighting up a cigarette.

Paige had bought some food from town, which was pretty lucky cos nothing on the board looked very good.

She went and sat down looking around for any of her friends, or anyone she even knew to talk to

Angel got a cup of coffee. He looked around for Pip, then took a seat across from him once he found him.

"Hey."

Pip was looking like he was waiting for somebody and Nadia looked like she was going to work, so Pippi decided to sit elsewhere today to eat her soup.

"Hey Paige, mind if I sit?"

Paige smiled, "no sure please," she replied, possibly a little rambly, "how are you Pippi?"

"I'm pretty good thank you... I'm not sure Professor Dream liked my translation, but he did say it was well done, so I got a good grade on it." she shrugged. "I guess that's school for ya."

She took a slurp of soup.

"How are things going for you?"

She nods, "yeah pretty much the same, I don't think I should have chosen spider, Cat was easier."

"And all things considered I'm good, I'm living in town again which is...well pretty dull actually."

"Anytime," Boone said, gesturing, perhaps overdramatically, to the empty space at the table. "Sit anywhere, seriously. I'd love some company."

"In town?" Pippi asked, "That does sound dull actually. Why'd ya move?"

She frowns a little, "I kinda messed up and my now ex boyfriend thought it would be better if I moved out, I'm staying with Geoff now, I promised House I'd keep an eye on him, it easiest this way."

Any melancholia that would normally be induced by the mention of Greg is nudged aside by Paige's frown.

"That was nice of you." she said, "Plus, you get to play with Cash all day... We can talk about something else if ya wanna." she sipped her soda, "Or not."

Nadia smiled. "Thanks." She took a seat across from him. "I'm Nadia. I don't think we've met."

[ooc: Nadia has a thick, latin american accent, just so's you know]

He grinned. "I'm Boone Carlyle." Her accent was too cute to not comment on, and, before he thought about it, he did.

Nadia grinned. "Nice to meet you. I'm from Argentina." She was feeling ridiculously bubbly.

Blair comes in and is delighted to see Nadia but a little bummed that she's sitting with a boy. He sits at a table and precedes to ~~take notes on teenage courtship rituals~~ write in his notebook.

Pippi is not giving Nadia a sly thumbs up from behind Boone.

Nadia is not noticing this and restraining herself from sticking her tongue out at Pippi.

She smiles a little then, "yeah Cash is cool, I kinda miss Lancelot, my kitten, but it's nice being with Geoff again."

She stops to take a bite out of her sandwich, "I don't really mind talking about it, I have a habit of messing stuff up, I thought I'd got over it but apparently not." she shrugs, "I'll talk about anything you want to be honest, it's kinda nice having someone to listen to me!"

Pippi shrugged. "What made you want to take Creature Languages?"

"Well I took Cat last year which was kinda fun, and I took that cos well, where else can you learn to speak to cats right? And I like Professor Dream, so well it just kinda made sense to carry on. You?"

"Kinda the same reason I guess. I mean, it just seemed so useful... I wasn't sure they taught useful things in schools until I came here."

She smirks, "guess it depends on your definition of useful doesn't it? But you're right I can use magic theory much more than maths in my life."

Pip looked up. "Oh, hey. How are you doing?" He pointed to the lit cigarette. "Mind if I smoke?"
