Between Mr. Ronan's class and all of Ms. Maggotbone's talk of demons, was it really that surprising that Sholeh was sitting in her desk, wide-eyed and silent.

Internally, however, there was kind of an uproar, with Zeela and Zhahar arguing about whether or not they should leave and if Ms. Maggotbone would be able to tell if they were lying about being human.
