Mad Kings & Queens: Raving Royals and How To Survive Them (Wednesday, 4th Period)
The classroom was totally normal when students arrived today, and Ghanima was actually seated behind her desk instead of on it for once. The skirt of her teaching uniform had been modified to floor length, and she'd cite religious reasons if necessary. Her eyes weren't quite as blue (or glowing) as normal, and what did shine through the contacts was hopefully hidden by slightly-tinted reading glasses.
Ghanima, for the record, was never wearing contacts again. Her left one had fallen out three times already today.
"Welcome back for your final history class of the semester," she said, gesturing for the students to take a seat. "Please take your desks, and Miss Dany will pass out the tests in a momentif she's there. If at any time the wording on a question confuses you, you may come up to my desk and ask me - quietly - any questions you may have."
With that, Ghanima patted the stack of papers on the front of her desk. "Dany? If you would please begin?"

During the Lecture
Re: During the Lecture
But at least, he thought as he listened to Ghanima, it was an exercise in not using the Force for everything, and Aunt Mara would probably like that.
Still. Sigh.
Re: During the Lecture
Instead she was trying to black out the plaid on her trousers with a marker...it wasn't working very well.
The Test!
2. It is often said that history is written by the victors. Do you feel this is accurate? Why or why not?
3. History gives us many examples of leaders deemed 'mad' or 'insane' either during or after their reign. What do you feel the defining characteristics of insanity are? Where does the line between someone doing what must be done, plain ruthlessness, and madness lie?
4. If there is one past event, one decision made by a leader, that you could go back and change, what would it be? Why?
5. We have covered a great deal of history in this course, but history is vast and we cannot touch on every topic. Who is someone you wish we could have covered, or someone we did study but you wish we could have spent more time on?
6. Give an example of propaganda being used to derail critical discussion of political decisions made by an influential leader.
Re: The Test!
Someone had taken to the whole 'learn the history of where you will live' theory a little too much.
